Over the last few years interior architecture has grown into a mature discipline. Companies, institutions, and private companies recognize the value of a good designer of living and work spaces. A space is complex with many crucial aspects defining its design such as the materials, light, sound, and scale which are used. All these elements simultaneously influence the experience. To design functional and stylish interiors you need the right knowledge and skills and the talent to analyse, organize, and draw is essential.
During the bachelor’s programme Architecture and Interior Design you will learn how to explore and analyse existing spaces and how to change them. You investigate the requirements of the space and which elements influence that space. Your sense of light, design, and colour is developed. You also develop and strengthen your project and communication skills. For this you will work on important practical assignments.
Architecture and Interior Design works with leading architects, interior architects, and designers as lecturers or guest lecturers, who have a professional business experience in addition to teaching. This enables them to share their professional knowledge and experience and enhance your education with knowledge of the latest developments in the field.
As soon as you have graduated you are a designated Interior or Architectural Designer. You can work as a freelancer for several clients, or you can work for a design agency, look for a job at a construction company, or a firm with designers in employment.
As soon as you have graduated with the profile Architectural Design, you can start with one of the two Master’s programmes: Architecture or Interior Architecture. After two years of professional experience you can register with the Register of Architects.
